This trip is the ticket, with rich cultural immersion plus a moderate to strenuous three-day trek along a mountain ridge between the Paro and Haa Valleys of western Bhutan. This itinerary is exclusive to MTS and since the Haa Valley has only been open to travel since 2001, trekkers are few on our little-used trails.

Meet Sergio Fitch-Watkins, one of our most senior guides (and with us since 1977!). Sergio is at home just about anywhere in the world and leads our most challenging treks in Nepal, Peru, and Pakistan. He's one of the most capable and unflappable guys we know–just the kind of person you want to be with in a remote wilderness.
