Nepal: Ultimate Everest Trek
If trekking to Everest base camp is just not enough adventure for you, join our Ultimate Everest Trek, the trip that veteran leader Brian Weirum calls “the most comprehensive exploration of the most outrageous real estate on the planet.” Designed on a scale to match the mountains, this trek features the unbelievable scenery of the remote Gokyo Valley and its festival of beautiful turquoise lakes, moonscape-like glaciers, and stunning mountain vistas that include Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu - four of the eight highest peaks on earth! (The 360-degree view from Gokyo Ridge is the best in the Khumbu!)
Other highlights (literally) include dramatic hikes to Kala Patar, Everest Base Camp, and Chhukhung Ridge, from where you'll feast your eyes on the Everest "trinity" (Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse) and other mystic Himalayan giants. The experience of being so close to such awesome mountains - and the spirituality of it - is something you'll never forget.
